In October of 2002, we at Neighborhood Ventures, Inc. decided it was time to give back to
the surrounding communities that have so enthusiastically supported us. So we created First
Tuesday Benefit. Each store chooses a charity in their area and on the First Tuesday of
every month that charity will receive fifteen percent of the entire days sales.
We market the event by word of mouth, table tents, the charities' mailing list
and our chalkboards. There is a special fondness for children and animals, but if you
are aware of a charity please speak up. We are always listening!
Are you interested in having a charity considered for the First Tuesday Benefit at your
neighborhood Half Shells or Fish City Grill? Please fill out the First Tuesday Benefit Application and deliver to the managaer of your neighborhood location. Dates book up fast, so plan 3-6 months ahead. We'll review your application and try our best to accomodate your request. Thank you!
