Chief Seafood Officer :: Bill Bayne
Hmmm . . . Bill is the founder and owner of Neighborhood Ventures, Inc., which owns Fish City
Grill and Half Shells. He has a passion for the restaurant business and seafood, put those
together and you have a great seafood restaurant! Bill also has a passion for flying, fly
fishing and hanging out with Lovett in New Mexico. Prior to this Bill was co-founder of Rockfish
Seafood Grills until he sold his half in 2000 to focus on quality, neighborhood, seafood joints.
He has over twenty-five years in the seafood business. Bill would love to see the company achieve
the goal of being nationally recognized as a great place to work.
Director of Happiness :: Lovett Bayne
Lovett, along with her husband Bill, is founder and owner of Neighborhood Ventures, Inc. With
her passion for people and her never-ending quest to grow our culture, she is truly the heart
of our company. Previous to this new and exciting life, she was the entire H.R. and Training
Department for Rockfish Seafood Grill. Lovett's background is in training, customer service
and Happy Hours!
Playground Director :: Tim Green
Tim is Director of Operations for Fish City Grill. He attended Texas Tech University in Lubbock,
TX and majored in Restaurant, Hotel and Institutional Management. Tim has gathered extensive
management experience with Remington’s Seafood, Texas Land and Cattle and Tony Roma’s. When it
comes to fixing things or how things work we refer to him as www.Tim.com! He is also the ultimate
family man and heavily involved in the local YMCA. He was honored with the “Volunteer of the Year”
award for the Town North YMCA in 2005. Tim oversees day to day operations of company stores and all
facets from construction to manager development.
The People Whisperer :: Sherry Detwiler
Sherry is Director of Human Resources for Fish City Grill. She has twenty plus years of HR experience
with Texas Land & Cattle and Black Eyed Pea. At Black Eyed Pea she was instrumental in growing the company
from twelve stores to seventy-five stores. Sherry is also quite a rancher in Texas, specializing in longhorns.
She maintains a great sense of humor and has a zest for fun, life and the pursuit of great employee relations.
Her passion and excitement for our culture is contagious. She says that Neighborhood Ventures, Inc. is the best
family she has ever worked with because of Bill and Lovett's passion for people.
Captain of the Guppies :: Dan Keils
Dan joined our family in 2003 as the General Manager for our Preston and Royal Fish City Grill. He brings great
experience from his years at Red Lobster and Texas Land & Cattle. He has since grown into the Director of Training
and is overseeing the opening of company and franchise stores. When Dan isn’t buried in his P&L looking for pennies or
obsessively revising a training manual he loves spending time with his wife and two children. Dan enjoys remodeling his
house, working on his land in East Texas and has a fixation with lawn mowers . . . but that’s a long story.
Anything Franchise :: Pat Garza
Pat Garza joined us in 2004 as the Director of Franchise Development. Previously he was a franchisee with Camille's
Sidewalk Café and Rockfish Seafood Grill. Pat also held the position of Area Director for On the Border. He is married
and has four daughters (one more and he’d have a basketball team!). Pat is our token collegiate athlete, having been a
wide receiver at the University of New Mexico. Perhaps that’s where he learned to dance ‘The Sprinkler.’
